Hands-on AWS track

Design real AWS architectures.

Work through enterprise scenarios — VPC design, multi-AZ deployments, IAM boundaries, DNS routing, and cost-aware service selection — in an interactive simulator that runs right in your browser.

What you'll practice

Scenario-driven architecture

Pick a scenario, read the constraints, then walk through the architecture diagram live. The simulator preserves AWS's native visual language so diagrams translate directly to real-world design reviews.

Click Launch simulator above to go full-screen. If the simulator won't load, your network may be blocking the required runtime — try the new-tab button or a different network.

Loading AWS simulator

This may take a few seconds the first time you open it.

Simulator didn't load

The runtime couldn't initialize — likely a blocked CDN (esm.sh or unpkg). Try the Open in a new tab button for a direct load, or check the browser console for the error.

How to get the most out of it

1

Read the scenario first

Each scenario opens with constraints and business context. Skim them before clicking through the diagram — the "why" shapes the "how".
2

Follow the traffic

Start from the user or integration edge and trace one request end-to-end. The diagrams animate to highlight what carries each hop.
3

Compare trade-offs

Most scenarios have a sensible default plus one or two alternative paths. Note which one a cost-sensitive vs. resilience-sensitive team would pick.
